Formation Armum Association
Stowarzyszenie Formacja Armum (Association Formation Armum) is a group of people for whom shooting and diving is an important part of their life. At meetings of association members you can get to know specialists, trainers and enthusiasts, but also develop your shooting- or diving-related skills in a friendly circle. Initially, my task was to adjust the page to adding texts easier. After consultations, it was decided to migrate to the WordPress content management system. After moving the page, it turned out that there is also a need for a new page design.
My next actions was:
- developing a template (I wrote a child template for Twenty Twelve and adjusted page appearance to the paper business card - I wanted the whole page to be consistent, based on existing graphics, which I used there),
- adaptation of the layout to display on devices with different sizes (responsive web design).
- matching the background images to different sections (pictures under the "free for commercial use" license, referring to the previous version of the page),
- adding a photo gallery,
- implementation of cookies policy,
- administrative work (creating user accounts, installation of plugins and theme, attempt to share content on social media, transfer of relevant content, assistance in changing the server, etc.).
I needed help writing Javascript (thanks for my husband helping hand). During this project, I learned how WordPress works and how to write this CMS themes, I expanded my experience in writing HTML, php, CSS and jQuery code.
